The contemplative life and Motorcycle travel.
Dan:I often contemplate, but in the evenings, or sometimes during a lazy afternoon, sitting somewhere by the water. Mornings are too early for me, unless I stay up later . . .I know you like to see the sunrise through the mist. I am more a sunset personbobRiding the Wet CoastMy Flickr // My YouTube
Dear Dan: There is no better time to contemplate anything than the birth of a new day, when the mists of the night are cleared by the light and warmth of the rising sun (son). Today, I will listen to Gregorian chants and delve into the more structured aspects of Catholic prayer, for the soul of a friend who left suddenly. Great pictures.Fondest regards,Jack/reep
He rests in peace...I think life in the monastery has accustomed me to early morning. But evening can be good too. One of my favorite times there is 7:30PM Night Prayer, called "Compline". You can listen to it here:http://www.newmelleray.org/compline.asp
