Aye Captain

From Paul's letter to the Romans:

The sufferings of the present are as nothing compared with the glory to be revealed in us. Indeed, the whole created world eagerly awaits the revelation of the sons of God. Creation was made subject to futility, not of its own accord but by him who once subjected it; yet not without hope, because the world itself will be freed from its slavery to corruption and share in the glorious freedom of the children of God.

Finally, a rain free day! Lots of flooding and mud slides
in this area ( SE Minnesota ) Sunny and 70 degrees this
morning and reasonable humidity. Spent the last week
or so helping my son move into his new house. Got
plenty of exercise!

Maybe it's time for at least a short bike trip. Thinking of
taking a day trip, or even an overnighter, to the town
of Riverside, Iowa, birthplace of Captain James T. Kirk !!!
This weekend is "Trekfest" there. Lots of nutts ( like me )
running around in Star Trek uniforms and alien costumes.

Maybe stop by the Monastery too. It's not too far from there.

  1. Are you allowed to stop by the monastery with your Star Trek costume on or is that frowned upon?

Glad you have some warmed temperatures.

  2. I'll just wear my Mr. Spock robes. I'll blend right in.
