Late season ride

"Because of the speed of your modern life and living, you never reflect on the monstrous fact that, for the most part, your civilization is made up of an agglomeration of ready-made men and ready-made women. Count the people you know who do not think ready-made thoughts, speak ready-made words, voice ready-made opinions, and even feel ready-made emotions. How many people do you know who do not follow ready-made political platforms, accept ready-made economic programs, and have as their life aim some ready-made financial goal? No wonder one witty Frenchman said, “These people do not think or speak —they simply echo.”
"Small wonder humans grow restless and resentful. The great wonder is that they do not recognize the cause of their restlessness and resentment. It lies in the wholesale denial of that very possession which differentiates them from all the rest of God’s wondrous creation —their immortal souls."
-From "Spiritual Secrets of a Trappist Monk", by Father M. Raymond
Out for a late season ride in the boonies. 65 degrees, so says the V-Strom.
Pretty nice for mid November.
